Hi, I’m Máté – the person behind MakeItMate!

My journey started in a totally different world – the kitchen. I worked as a chef for years, where I developed a love for creativity and detail. But over time, I wanted a new outlet where I could express that same creativity in a more hands-on, design-focused way. That’s when I found 3D printing, and everything changed.

After completing an HND in Web Development, I began experimenting with design and printing in my spare time. What started as a fun hobby quickly grew into a full-blown passion – and soon after, into a small business.

MakeItMate was born from a desire to create things that are not only fun and functional, but also unique and sustainable. Every piece is printed from my workshop in Paisley using eco-friendly, biodegradable PLA. Whether it’s quirky plant pots, game-inspired gifts, or clever accessories, I aim to make products that spark joy, start conversations, or just make everyday life a little cooler.

I’m proud to keep things personal, local, and thoughtful. I design, test, and pack each order myself – and I’m always looking for ways to improve, add new styles, or respond to what my customers love.
